Features:
You
can use magnetic workholding chucks for drilling, milling and
boring operations on workpieces over 0.4" thick. The
magnetic force makes difficult workholding jobs faster and safer
allowing you to
Power is only required for clamping and un-clamping. You'll never lose holding power during a power outage. Simplify your holding by eliminating different sized vises for different workpieces. Spring-loaded induction blocks hold even hold warped stock secure. Uniform magnetic clamping pressure prevents part distortion and dead spots that cause chatter and tool wear. The rigid magnetic holding force reduces vibration and harmonics for improved surface finish and long tool life.
Even holding eliminates "dead spots" to reduce chatter. Magnetic chucks allow free access to machine on 5 sides.
MagVISE EEPM chucks are used for normal and heavy duty drilling, milling, and boring operations on medium or large sized work pieces. Rough and uneven stock is no problem to hold. Simply use the sliding pole extensions to support uneven work pieces. A minimum of 4 alternate poles contact is necessary for optimum magnetic holding power. Minimum thickness of job- 3/4".
EEPM magnetic workholding chucks drastically reduce set up time while maintaining uniform holding power over the entire work piece. Since work piece distortion does not occur, tool chatter is minimized and surface finish and tool life are improved.
No electricity is needed to keep the EEPM chuck ON,… the magnet keeps on holding tight even during a complete power loss. Easily integrated with Pallet changing and FMS Systems.
