The
3000 P 50-25 PortaDot 300 P 50-25 features an all
inclusive marking system with easy to use
software. No air or PC required. A sealed membrane
keyboard and High Contrast LCD screen are built in
to the controller. An optional external PC style
Keyboard is available. The marking window is
2.0" (50 mm) by 1.0" (25 mm). The system
can mark parts up to 63 HRC hardness.

P 50-25 PortaDot Marking Unit Features:
The
marking unit consists of a hand held case with
"pistol grip", a non-skid locating
pad and a 2-axis, stepping motor driven
assembly with an attached electrical solenoid
which actuates the carbide stylus. The marking
area is 2" (X axis) by 1"( Y axis),
with two proximity switches defining the
linear XY home position. Theses proximity
switches ensure that the mark is accurate and
repeatable.
It is the best solution for
accurately marking text, symbols, and Data Matrix
codes on large parts or components that cannot be
easily marked at a fixed station.
A
robust, lightweight design allows this hand-held
system to be used by anyone in a manufacturing
environment. It is an ideal replacement for hand
stamping and reduces marking-related injuries.
